Ways I Use Tarot & Why to get a Professional Tarot reading!
As a professional tarot reader I love using tarot as part of my self care practice. I use it as part of my night routine and to reflect on my energy from the day. It is also a good way to check in with my own emotions. As a water sign ( Pisces sun and Cancer Moon), tarot is a way to ground me and I'm able to see the situation from a more logical stand point. I also like to journal on the cards that I pull and I can keep track of my emotions. When working with my clients I love giving them self care tips during their readings and journal prompts. After every reading my clients always leave with something they can add to their tool box and use when ever they need it. I love how my clients leave feeling comfortable, confident and ready to take on the world. I also have been adding Reiki which is another amazing form of healing as well.

How to find your first deck?
you do not have to be gifted your first tarot deck. I recommend purchasing your own so it is something you resonate with. My first deck was the shrine of the black Medusa and it was created by a black queer person and I found a guide book that was also gender inclusive which I appreciate. I also use intuition when picking the deck and reading the cards.
How to learn the meanings? This week we will focus on the elements.
I learned the meanings by using a guide book, watching YouTube videos and tuning into my intuition. I also have a personal tarot journal where I write down my personal readings for myself. I also practiced on other people with their consent and let them know what level I was at.
